Maria Ballesteros
Office Manager | Head Paralegal
Born in Mexico and raised in Idaho, Maria Ballesteros has proudly called the Gem State home for 26 years. Bilingual and bicultural, she lives by her favorite dicho: “¡Ponte las pilas!”—a phrase that captures her proactive spirit and tireless dedication to helping others navigate life’s challenges. Having navigated the immigration journey herself, Maria understands the fears and hopes that accompany this complex process.
Maria began her legal career in immigration law, where she mastered the system’s intricacies through both study and personal experience. Now, as Office Manager and Head Paralegal, she does more than process paperwork—she guides families through each step with rare patience and understanding. Clients often say Maria treats their cases as if they were her own, taking time to explain legal complexities in clear terms and standing by them even when the process feels overwhelming.
Her dedication to helping others extends beyond the office. Family is Maria’s cornerstone—whether she’s cheering at her daughter’s soccer games (11) or her son’s baseball tournaments (9), or rolling up her sleeves to help her father manage his flooring business on weekends. These moments remind her daily why she fights so hard for other families pursuing their dreams.
For Maria, legal work isn’t just a profession—it’s a way to pay forward the guidance she once received. Every case she handles carries the same care she gives her own family, because to her, that’s exactly what clients become.
